This was our second visit & again we were not disappointed. Perfect location, and staff who cannot do enough for you, but in a warm and friendly way. This time we had a Harbour-facing room, which did mean that we were woken early by the sun, but who wants to sleep late in Newport Beach anyway?
We stayed here in August 2013 - and came back for a week in June this year for a well earned rest after completing Route 66. We had a marvellous time again - thanks to Warren and the team. Always helpful and friendly - thanks again for a marvellous time!
Un hotel absolutamente familiar, agradable por demás, hermoso, super bien preparado, organizado, limpio, y la gente absolutamente cálida.
My wife and I traveled to Newport Beach to be part of a surprise birthday party for our daughter set up by her husband. We decided to extend our stay and after reading great reviews, decided to stay at the Bay Shores Peninsula Hotel. We had planned on taking several day trips, only spending nights at the hotel.
What a nice surprise. Quaint, cute, clean beachy surf hotel. Nice clean rooms with wonderful amenities and special touches like fruit, fresh flowers, and bottled water. Bathroom had nice toiletries, cotton ball, q-tips, etc. They even provide beach towels, boogie boards, chairs etc. Lovely breakfast included, and cookies in the afternoon as well as coffee and tea provided all day.
What a great find!!! Everyone was very nice and the location is great. They go out of their way to make you happy. Great, great place, please don't change anything, they always have coffee and teas for you day or night and a really nice little breakfast. Thanks for your kindness.
This place is the best to stay in Newport, this is my third year joining my fiance's family staying here and I will definitely be coming back more often on my own. With large chains weeding a lot of the smaller places with the hometown feel, its nice to have a place like this to stay in OC/LA Area. Ralph and all the staff are beyond selfless and do whatever to serve you the best they can.
This hotel is like you've stepped back into the 1960s or 70s in a good way. The rooms are well decorated, comfortable and clean. Don't expect anything fancy here though - it's a low key property with wonderful amenities including beach towels, beach chairs and even boogie boards. The location cannot be beat for the price- just a quick 1/2 block from the beach. They also offer a substantial breakfast each morning.
The first minute you walk in you step back in time to a time and place where people cared for each other and are friendly and courteous. The rooms are quaint and cozy and well taken care of. Bathrooms are clean and great water!
